The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House that Her Majesty had (by Commission) revoked certain Letters Patent and had appointed the Chairman of Committees for the time being, the Earl of Listowel, the Earl St. Aldwyn, the Lord Airedale, the Lord Douglas of Barloch, the Lord Strang, the Baroness Wootton of Abinger, the Viscount Dilhorne, the Lord Champion, the Earl of Shannon, the Lord Derwent, the Lord Henley, the Lord Gardiner, the Viscount Hood, the Lord Alport, the Lord Maybray-King, the Lord Hailsham of Saint Marylebone, the Baroness Llewelyn-Davies of Hastoe, the Lord Nugent of Guildford, the Lord Segal, the Baroness Tweedsmuir of Belhelvie, the Lord Amherst of Hackney, the Earl of Cathcart, the Lord Jacques, and the Lord Wigoder, Speakers of the House in the absence of the Lord Chancellor. The said Commission was read.
