HL Deb 21 March 1977 vol 381 cc337-8

Lord PRITCHARD rose to move, That this House takes note of the Eighteenth Report from the European Communities Committee on Green Money. The noble Lord said: My Lords, just before I move this Motion, may I follow my noble friend Lord Raglan in thanking very much those Members of the committee who have spoken today in such a constructive way. So far as the Green Pound Committee is concerned, I should like to thank my noble friend Lord Cobbold who has been of enormous help; he has put in a great deal of time. All that is good in the financial part of this report has sprung from his eminent brain, and all that is moderate has come from mine. My Lords, I beg to move.

Moved, That this House takes note of the Eighteenth Report from the European Communities Committee on Green Money. —(Lord Pritchard.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
