HL Deb 29 July 1977 vol 386 c1205
Baroness LLEWELYN-DAVIES of HASTOE

My Lords, we have not yet received the Consolidated Fund (Appropriation) Bill from another place, so I think the best thing for us to do is to adjourn during pleasure, and, as soon as we receive it, we will put on the annunciators the time we resume. I hope the adjournment will not be very long—I do not think it will be—but I think this is the best way of dealing with the position. So I beg to move that the House do now adjourn during pleasure.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned during pleasure.

House resumed.
