HL Deb 28 October 1976 vol 376 c738

[Nos.17–19.]

Leave out Clause 20.

The Commons disagreed to this Amendment and proposed the following Amendments to the words so restored to the Bill:

Clause 20, page 27, line 18, leave out ("some") and insert ("a material");

line 35, leave out from ("person") to end of line 41.

Lord STRABOLGI

My Lords, I have already spoken to these Amendments. I beg formally to move that this House doth not insist on its Amendment No. 17 to which the Commons have disagreed and that this House doth agree to Amendments Nos.18 and 19 proposed by the Commons to the words so restored to the Bill.

Moved, That this House doth rot insist on its Amendment No. 17 to which the Commons have disagreed and that this House doth agree to Amendments Nos.18 and 19 proposed by the Commons to the words so restored to the Bill.—(Lord Strabolgi.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
