§ Lord HARRIS of GREENWICHMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 34. With the leave of the House, I will also speak to Amendment No. 43. These minor Amendments are consequential upon the addition to Clause 8 of the Bill at Report stage in this House of subsection (6), which enables a surety to enter into his recognisance in Scotland before the Scottish police where the court is satisfied that he is a suitable person to act as surety.
