§ The MINISTER of STATE, SCOTTISH OFFICE (Lord Kirkhill)My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill do now pass and, if I may, I should like to express my appreciation of the interest which your Lordships have taken in this Bill and the contribution which you have made. I should like especially to thank the noble Lord, Lord Campbell of Croy, for his constructive help and his consideration to me as I guided the Bill through your Lordships' House, and for the very real interest evinced by the noble Lords, Lord Balerno and Lord Drumalbyn. Although the Bill is short it is, nevertheless, an important measure for education and the education profession in Scotland. I am confident that it has the support of your Lordships' House as we refer it to the other place.
