My Lords, I beg to move the third Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper. The Joint Committee on Sound Broadcasting have asked to be reappointed and they aim to report early in the New Year.

Moved, That it is desirable that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the implementation of the Resolutions of both Houses in favour of the establishment of a permanent system of sound broadcasting of their proceedings, and to make recommendations; and that a Committee of five Lords be appointed to join with a Committee of the Commons as such a Joint Committee.—(Lord Peart.)
