27A. In section 122(8) of the Housing Act 1974 (duty to inform tenant of assignment of landlord's interest) after the words "Rent (Scotland) Act 1971" insert the words "statutory tenancy within the meaning of the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976".

§ Baroness BIRKMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment No. 51 to the Lords Amendment No. 50. This Amendment simply restores two words which have been inadvertently omitted and which are necessary for understanding Amendment No. 50. I beg to move.
