§ Clause 5, page 6, line 3, at end insert 'and section 35 of that Act (failure to register within time required) shall apply accordingly'.
§ Lord STRABOLGIMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 14. Noble Lords will note that Clause 5(5) deals with agreements which cease to be exempt under the clause but which continue in force and become subject to the provisions of the Restrictive Trade Practices Act 1976. This Amendment applies to this subsection the provisions as to the consequences of failure to register which apply to agreements which 786 are not registered within the times specified in that Act. I hope that the House will accept this minor Amendment.
