The Viscount COLVILLE of CULROSS had given Notice of his intention to move the following Amendment:

After Clause 3, insert the following new clause:

Special period of limitation 1939 c. 21

(" . Notwithstanding anything in section 2A of the Limitation Act 1939, no action shall be brought by any person under this Act more than three years after that person ceased to be under a disability:

Provided that section 2D of the Limitation Act 1939 shall apply as if—

  1. (a) in subsection (I) the words " or 2B ", in subsection (3) the words " or as the case may be 2B " and subsections (2) and (6) were omitted; and
  2. (b) references to section 2A were references to this section.").

In the absence of my noble friend Lord Colville of Culross, who had not anticipated that your Lordships would he so quick in passing through the Amendments to the previous legislation, the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, this Amendment will not be moved.
