§ The PRINCIPAL DEPUTY CHAIRMAN of COMMITTEES (Baroness Tweedsmuir of Belhelvie)My Lords, on behalf of the noble Lord the Chairman of Committees, I beg to move the Motion standing in his name on the Order Paper. I must apologise, both to the House and the two noble Baronesses whose names appear in the Motion, for the fact that last week in error I moved a Motion appointing the noble Baroness, Lady Pike, to be a Member of the Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments instead of the noble Baroness, Lady Vickers.
Moved, That the order of 24th June, appointing the Baroness Pike to be a member of the Joint Committee be discharged and that the Baroness Vickers be added to the Joint Committee in the place of the Lord Reigate resigned.—(Baroness Tweedsmuir of Belhelvie.)
