HL Deb 05 July 1976 vol 372 c1027
Baroness LLEWELYN-DAVIES of HASTOE

My Lords, with the leave of the House, may I say a word about dinners. On 14th June I announced that dinners would be available to Peers and their guests every Tuesday when the House was sitting during this Session. Because the House has not been sitting late, the experiment has not been as successful as we had hoped. Dinners will be available tomorrow as planned but, in consultation with the noble Lord the Chairman of the Refreshment Sub-Committee, we shall reconsider arrangements for future Tuesdays when we know how many Members of your Lordships' House dine here tomorrow. I will make another announcement later in the week.
