§ —(Lord Aberdare.)
§ Baroness PHILLIPSMy Lords, I would ask the noble Lord the Chairman of Committees why the Select Committee on Commodity Prices—unfortunately, I was not in the House when this was moved—did not contain a female Peer. Women do know a little about prices.
§ Lord ABERDAREMy Lords, I think this is rather another question from the Motion I am now moving, but my recollection is that that particular Committee was being reappointed. It was the same Committee as was sitting in the last Session.
§ Lord LEE of NEWTONMy Lords, may not the answer be that that Committee has met 30 times and in concluding the evidence it heard it would be a bit risky to start putting new people on that Committee?
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
