HL Deb 21 October 1975 vol 364 c1246
The LORD CHANCELLOR (Lord Elwyn-Jones)

My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a second time. It is a straightforward Consolidation Bill, and it consolidates the Airports Authority Act 1965, which established the British Airports Authority, with nearly all the subsequent enactments relating to the Authority. The Bill will be referred to the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills in the usual way. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2ª.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Bill read 2ª, and referred to the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills.
