HL Deb 20 March 1975 vol 358 cc884-5

3.25 p.m.

The LORD CHANCELLOR (Lord Elwyn-Jones)

My Lords, I beg to move that the Commons Amendments be now considered. Like the two Bills which follow, this Bill is purely a Consolidation Bill which consolidates part of the enactments relating to National Insurance and social security. The Amendments are purely consequential on the enactment of the Social Security Benefits Act and I therefore propose, with the leave of the House, to move them en bloc.

Moved, That the Commons Amendments he now considered.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
