Lord BELHAVEN and STENTONMy Lords, with the leave of the House I should like to make a personal statement arising out of the Starred Question which stands today on the Order Paper in the name of the noble Lord. Lord Brockway. The Question refers to an article in the Press in which there is a suggestion that I might have abused my position as a Member of your Lordships' House to forward my own interest and that of the syndicate concerned. I should like to take this opportunity of stating that this suggestion is entirely without foundation.
