§ Lord SOMERSI beg leave to introduce a Bill to provide for arrangements to regularise the transfer of parts of the British Railways Board's undertaking to new bodies interested in continuing to operate certain services; to allow the independent assessment of the sums of money to be paid to the Board by potential new operating authorities; to repeal section 28 of the Regulation of Railways Act 1868; and for purposes connected therewith.
