§ The LORD CHANCELLOR (Lord Elwyn-Jones)My Lords, this Bill and the next three Bills on the Order Paper are consolidation Bills which have been reported on by the Joint Committee. I understand that no noble Lord has indicated a wish to move a manuscript Amendment or to speak in Committee on any of these Bills. Unless, therefore, any noble Lord objects, I intend to move that the Order of Recommitment on each of the next three consolidation Bills be discharged as soon as each Bill is called, without making the usual introductory statement. I beg to move that the Order of Recommitment in respect of this Bill be discharged.
