§ THELORD CHANCELLOR (LORD ELWYN-JONES)My Lords, I have to acquaint the House that the Clerk of the Parliaments has received a letter from Mr. Leslie Boyd, Courts Administrator, Central Criminal Court, informing him that Lord Spens was on the fourth day of October, 1974, convicted at that Court of one offence of fraudulent conversion of property and five offences of theft, and was sentenced to a term of two years and six months' imprisonment on each offence, concurrent sentences.
