HL Deb 29 November 1974 vol 354 c1573

9.5 a.m.

THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (LORD SHEPHERD)

My Lords, I would say for the information of the House that the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Bill has now completed its stages in another place. We are now going through the procedural—I will not say difficulties, but formalities which will take a degree of time, but the Bill should be with us very shortly.

I now gather there is some difficulty in the communications between the two Houses—as usual, it is nothing whatsoever to do with your Lordships' House. I hope the message will be loud and clear down the corridors. I suggest that we should adjourn during pleasure for 10 minutes, when I hope the difficulties will have been overcome.

House adjourned during pleasure.

House resumed.
