§ Report from the Select Committee, That the Committee are of opinion that it is not expedient to proceed further with the Bill; and that the Committee are further of opinion that the Petitioners have been unreasonably subjected to expense by the Promoters of the Bill and are therefore entitled to recover from the Promoters 25 per centum of the costs incurred by them in respect of their opposition to the Bill in this House, such costs to be taxed and certified by the Taxing Officer of this House.
