acquainted the House that Her Majesty had (by Commission) revoked certain Letters Patent and had appointed the Chairman of Committees for the time being, the Earl of Listowel, the Lord Rea, the Lord Amulree, the Earl St. Aldwyn, the Lord Airedale, the Lord Jessel, the Lord Douglas of Barloch, the Lord Strang, the Viscount Goschen, the Lord Grenfell, the Baroness Wootton of Abinger, the Viscount Dilhorne, the Lord Champion, the Lord St. Helens, the Lord Royle, the Lord Beswick, the Baroness Emmet of Amberley, the Earl of Shannon, the Lord Derwent, the Lord Henley, the Lord Gardiner, the Viscount Hood, the Lord Alport, the Lord Maybray-King, the Lord Hailsham of Saint Marylebone, the Baroness Llewelyn-Davies of Hastoe, the Earl of Cork and Orrery, the Lord Nugent of Guildford. the Lord Segal, the Lord Popplewell and the Lord Diamond, Speakers of the House in the absence of the Lord Chancellor.
