§ To ask Her Majesty's Government at what date it is anticipated that the model bye-laws relating to fairground safety and the comprehensive code of practice dealing with structural, mechanical and electrical safety, and with fire precautions, will be published.
§ THE MINISTER OF STATE, HOME OFFICE (LORD HARRIS OF GREENWICH)My Lords, the revised model byelaws are now available to local authorities. The code of practice is at an advanced stage of preparation and should be ready for publication by next spring.
§ LORD CROOKMy Lords, I thank the noble Lord. While that report is not as good as I hoped, I understand all the printing difficulties.
