LORD JACQUES

My Lords, the Commons have made precisely 250 Amendments to the Consumer Credit Bill. The Bill is divided into 12 Parts plus the Schedules. I suggest that it would be for the convenience of the House for the Amendments relating to each Part to be taken en bloc and I will act accordingly. The first Part is concerned with the Director General. There are three Amendments, all of which are drafting. Therefore I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendments Nos. 1 to 3.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.—(Lord Jacques.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
