Clause 30, page 28, line 45, at end insert—

("( ) In the application of subsection (3A) above to Scotland—

  1. (a) for the word "minor" there shall be substituted the words "person under the age of eighteen";
  2. (b) in paragraph (b), for the words from "testamentary" to "tenants" there shall be substituted the words
    1. "(i) a testamentary disposition or any other deed with testamentary effect taking effect on, or the law of intestate succession" and at the end there shall be added the following words" or
    2. (ii) a right to jus relicti, jus relictae or legitim out of the deceased's estate".")

The Commons agreed to the above Amendment but proposed the following Amendments thereto:

Line 4, after second '(b)', insert '(i)'.

Line 6, leave out '(i)'.

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 4 to Clause 30. This Amendment, with Amendment No. 5 which follows, simply correct a small drafting mistake in the original Amendment which was agreed to by your Lordships on Third Reading and which resulted in the numeral (i) being inserted in the wrong place. I beg to move.
