§ Clause 11, page 14, line 43, leave out from "to" to "appropriate" in line 2 on page 15 and insert "make services of their officers available as he considers".
§ LORD ABERDAREMy Lords, if I may move Amendments Nos. 32 and 33 together, No. 32 extends the power of direction already given to the Secretary of State so as to enable him to direct health authorities to make staff available to local authorities under Clause 11(1) paragraphs (a) and (b). Amendment No. 33 is to enable this clause to apply to staff made available to public bodies as well as those made available to local authorities and is consequential on Amendment No. 32. I beg to move.
