§ LORD ABERDAREMy Lords, the effect of this Amendment is to make it plain that the Regional Health Authority may consult not only regional or national representative bodies, but also such bodies as are representative of the profession in the area. We think it desirable that the Regional Health Authority should be able to consult local representative professional bodies when appointing members to Area Health Authorities. I beg to move.
