§ LORD ABERDAREMy Lords, I beg to move Amendment No. 59. Clause 25(1) provides for local authorities' trust property held for health purposes to be transferred to Area Health Authorities or special health authorities as specified by order. As however some Regional Health Authorities will be responsible for ambulance services and as some of the transferable property may be held on trust for the purposes of ambulance services, this amendment is needed to enable such property where appropriate to be transferred to Regional Health Authorities as well as to Area Health Authorities. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment.
