HL Deb 07 June 1973 vol 343 c214
EARL FERRERS

My Lords, I beg to move that the Medicines (Feeding Stuffs Additives) Order 1973, a draft of which was laid before the House on May 9, be approved. The Order is intended to correct a small technical anomaly in the Medicines Act 1968, to enable Ministers to make comprehensive regulations relating to the labelling of medicated animal feeding stuffs. As I said, it is a small technical matter. I am perfectly happy to explain it to your Lordships if you so desire; otherwise, I will move the Order formally.

Moved, That the Draft Medicines (Feeding Stuffs Additives) Order 1973, laid before the House on May 9 be approved.—(Earl Ferrers.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
