HL Deb 19 July 1973 vol 344 c1375

My Lords, I beg leave to ask a Question of which I have given Private Notice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what reply he has sent to the Commission of the E.E.C. in response to the Directive that a 4 per cent. grant paid to the Marathon Construction Company is an infringement of the Community rules.

My Lords, with the leave of the House, my noble friend Lord Limerick will answer this Question at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m.

This will be followed shortly by a Statement made by my noble friend Lady Tweedsmuir of Belhelvie on Rhodesia.
