HL Deb 11 April 1973 vol 341 c644
LORD DIAMOND

My Lords, with the leave of the House, I desire to make a personal statement. During yesterday's debate on E.E.C. Regulations and the Professions, I stated that the view of the Committee of Vice-Chancellors was that there was no need to extend the existing arrangements for consultation. This was an error on my part, for the opposite view is held. I offer my apologies to your Lordships and my gratitude for giving me this opportunity for putting the Record straight.
