HL Deb 27 July 1972 vol 333 c1508

[No. 2.]

Schedule 21, page 320, line 40, leave out ("section") and insert ("Act").

LORD POLWARTH

My Lords, this is a minor drafting Amendment. It has the effect of defining the phrase, "Act of 1972" in Clause 9 of the Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Bill as referring to the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1972. This is the definition used in Clause 8 of the said Amendment Bill. The omission of the definition from Clause 9 was corrected in another place at the Committee stage. As I have said, this is entirely a matter of drafting, and I beg to move.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Lord Polwarth.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
