HL Deb 11 July 1972 vol 333 cc116-7
THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I again rise to move that, pursuant to Standing Order No. 43(2), the House do discharge the Order of Recommitment. I will not repeat all the words that I spoke on the last Motion, but every one applies to this Bill, too. It is pure consolidation; the Committee have reported that nothing needs to be drawn to the attention of Parliament; no Amendments have been put down, and so on.

Moved, That the Order of Recommitment be discharged.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

LORD SHACKLETON

My Lords, ought it not to be Standing Order No. 45(2)?

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I am sure that the noble Lord the Leader of the Opposition would not have said that unless he was right. But I can tell him that the figures "43(2)" are written down in both of my briefs.

On Question, Motion agreed to.
