My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Leader of the House, I beg to move the Motion standing in his name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That the Clerk of the Parliaments be authorised, at his discretion, to call upon any Clerk in the Parliament Office of the rank of Chief Clerk or above to sit at the Table of the House in addition to the Clerks already appointed for that purpose.—(Earl St. Aldwyn.)
