HL Deb 17 March 1971 vol 316 c435
THE MINISTER OF STATE, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL SECURITY (LORD ABERDARE)

My Lords, with the leave of the House I should like to make a personal statement. On March 11, during the debate on the Welfare Food (Extension of Definition) Order 1971, I told the House that the Government gave notice to British Honduras and Jamaica in October, 1970, that we should not require further supplies of orange juice concentrate. I very much regret that I should have said December, and not October, 1970, and I apologise to the House for this error.
