HL Deb 26 July 1971 vol 323 c14
EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, it has been suggested to me that it might be for the convenience of the House if we were to meet at 2 o'clock to-morrow and on Wednesday. I am entirely in your Lordships' hands as to whether this is more convenient, in view of the large number of speakers on all three days of the debate or whether you would prefer to meet at 2.30 p.m. as usual. I would suggest that unless any noble Lords object we should meet at 2 o'clock.

LORD BESWICK

My Lords, I should have thought that, considering the list of speakers, a 2 o'clock start might be preferable, and from this side of the House I certainly agree to it.
