My Lords, I beg leave to ask a Question, of which I have given Private Notice. The Question is:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will make a Statement on the shipping accident off the Isle of Wight and on the resulting threat of oil pollution?


My Lords, my noble friend Lord Drumalbyn will give an Answer to the noble Lord's Question, at a convenient moment after half past three o'clock, in the form of a Statement. I should also like to acquaint your Lordships that my noble friend the Leader of the House will, at a convenient moment after half past four o'clock, be making a Statement on public-expenditure.
