HL Deb 10 November 1970 vol 312 c727

VISCOUNT GOSCHEN

My Lords, I should like to inform the House that following discussions through the usual channels it has been decided, in view of the debate on the Rhodesian Order, which is now to be taken as first business, and of other business which is likely to take some time, that it would be unreasonable to hold the debate on metrication down for to-morrow. It is hoped to arrange a new date for this before Christmas.
