My Lords, as the House knows, the Emergency Regulations which are to be approved to-day have force for a maximum of one month. It may be necessary for the House to be recalled to consider further Regulations should the present emergency, regrettably, extend beyond that time or should other circumstances make recall essential. Subject to this contingency, it is proposed that the House should adjourn on Thursday, July 23, until Tuesday, October 27.
