§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, I beg leave to introduce: a Bill (the Long Title of which is almost exactly the same as that of the last Bill, but I can assure your Lordships it is a separate Bill—it is also, I think, the largest Bill that I have ever seen) to consolidate certain of the enactments relating to income tax and corporation tax, including certain enactments relating also to other taxes. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
