His Royal Highness Charles Philip Arthur George, The Prince of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Duke of Cornwall and Rothesay, Earl of Carrick, Baron of Renfrew, Lord of the Isles and Great Steward of Scotland, having been created Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester, was, in his Robes, and wearing the Collar of the Order of the Garter, introduced in the following order:

His Royal Highness, standing, presented his Letters Patent to The Lord Chancellor at the Woolsack, who delivered them to the Clerk of the Parliaments: the same were read at the Table.
Then His Royal Highness, at the Table, took and subscribed the Oath required to be taken by the Promissory Oaths Act 1868 [31 & 32 Victoria, cap. 72]: after which His Royal Highness was conducted to his Chair on the Right Hand of the Throne.
