HL Deb 04 February 1970 vol 307 c744

9.4 p.m.

House in Committee (on Re-commitment): Clauses agreed to.

House resumed: Bill reported without amendment.

THE EARL OF MALMESBURY

My Lords, in moving that this Report be now received, I should like to say that I intend to put down this Bill for Third Reading to-morrow. If, to-morrow, any noble Lord objects on the ground that he wishes to table an Amendment, I shall be happy to postpone the Third Reading. But I hope your Lordships will understand that I am anxious that this Bill should complete its passage through this House promptly so that another place may consider it. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Report be now received.—(The Earl of Malmesbury.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at five minutes past nine o'clock.
