LORD ABERDARE

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Leader of the House I beg to move, That an Humble Address be presented to Her Majesty, thanking Her Majesty for Her Most Gracious Message communicating to this House Her Majesty's Declaration that a state of Emergency exists within the meaning of the Emergency Powers Act 1920; and also for Her Most Gracious Message received this day informing the House that by Proclamation Her Majesty has revoked the Proclamation of December 12 declaring that a State of Emergency exists.

Moved accordingly, and on Question, Motion agreed to: the said Address to be presented to Her Majesty by the Lords with White Staves.
