HL Deb 21 April 1970 vol 309 c619
THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (LORD SHACKLETON)

My Lords, I understand that eggs have something to do with agriculture, and that it has been agreed through the usual channels that we should take the Eggs Order immediately after the Second Reading of the Agriculture Bill. I therefore beg to move the Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That leave be given to the Lord Beswick to advance his Motion for the approval of the Eggs (Guaranteed Prices) Amendment Order 1970 from the 28th to this day, and that it be taken after the Agriculture Bill.—(Lord Shackleton.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
