§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 23. This Amendment repeals Section 24 of the York Corporation Act 1969 in relation to any deeds registry which has been closed for all purposes under the Bill. The section which excluded from the operative area of the deeds registries any areas transferred from a Riding to the City of York will become otiose when a registry is closed. My Lords, I beg to move.
