HL Deb 22 July 1969 vol 304 c773

3.2 p.m.

Lord BESWICK

My Lords, my noble friend the Leader of the House will be making a Statement on the extension of the Ombudsman principle at a convenient moment after half-past three. This will be followed by a Statement on the Textile Council's Report on Cotton and Allied Textiles by my noble friend Lord Brown. May I also remind your Lordships that dinner will be available again this evening between 7 and 8.30 p.m.

Lord DRUMALBYN

My Lords, is it intended that the House will rise for a break during that time, or continue sitting?

Lord BESWICK

My Lords, I did not mention that, nor was it the intention of the House, as I understand it, to break.
