1. APPOINTMENT OF SUB-COMMITTEES
(a) Administration. The Administration Committee was appointed as follows:
with the Clerk of the Parliaments.

(b) Library. The Sub-Committee on the Library was appointed as follows:
with the Clerk of the Parliaments.
§
With power to co-opt further Lords and to appoint its own Chairman.
(c) Refreshment Department. The Sub-Committee on the Refreshment Department was appointed as follows:
with the Clerk of the Parliaments.

(d) House of Lords Estimates. The Sub-Committee on the Estimates was appointed as follows:

§ 2. REPRINTING OF PARLIAMENTARY RECORDS
§ The Committee considered a request from the Kraus-Thomson Organisation for permission to reprint in conjunction with H.M. Stationery Office the out-of-print volumes of the Rolls of Parliament and the Journals of the House.
§ The Committee expressed approval of the project and recommended that a contract for this purpose should be negotiated between H.M. Stationery Office and the Kraus-Thomson Organisation.
13§ 3. PARLIAMENT OFFICE AND LIBRARY
§ The Clerk of the Parliaments informed the Committee of a review of the following posts in the Parliament Office and Library:
- Clerk of the Records
- Assistant Librarian
- Hansard Editorial Staff
- Clerical Officer, Hansard Office
- Senior Office Assistant, Chairman of Committees' Department.
§ The Committee authorised the scales of salary consequent upon the revised grading of these posts.
§ 4. REVISED SCALES OE PAY
§ The Committee sanctioned the application of Establishment Circular D.E.O. (69) (Pay) No. 12—Pay of the Higher Civil Service—to analogous grades of the staff of the House of Lords.
§ 5. ESTIMATES
§ The Estimate for the House of Lords for 1970–71 was laid before the Committee and approved with an amendment in relation to the provision for Post Office Services.
§ 6. SUPERANNUATION
§ The Committee sanctioned the payment of the following Superannuation Awards under the Superannuation Act 1965:
- (a) Revised Pension and Additional Allowance to Mr. Thomas Eric Webster, Attendant, who retired on October 26, 1969.
- (b) Pension and Additional Allowance to Mr. Arthur Edward Slaughter Forty, Second Principal Doorkeeper, who retires on November 28, 1969.
§ 7. HOUSE OF LORDS' FEES—IRISH PEERAGE CLAIMS
§ The Committee considered the fees payable in regard to claims to Irish Peerages and recommend that they should be revised as follows:
