§ Schedule 6, page 102, line 20, leave out from "the" to end of line and insert' said Act of 1968; for the words paragraphs (a) to (c)' there shall be substituted the words paragraphs (a) to (b)'; and for the words section 177(1)' there shall be substituted the words `section 177(1)(a)'".
§ The Commons disagreed to this Amendment but proposed the following Amendment in lieu:

VISCOUNT COLVILLE OF CULROSSMy Lords, I certainly would not suggest that this House should insist on its original Amendment. Having spent twenty minutes in considering this charge, I still do not understand the difference, but I have no doubt that it is an improvement in the Bill if the matter is dealt with as suggested in Amendment No. 19.
