HL Deb 27 May 1968 vol 292 c959
BARONESS EMMET OF AMBERLEY

My Lords, I beg to move that the Report of Amendments be now received. May I take this opportunity of thanking the noble Lord, Lord Stonham, the Minister in charge, for the assistance he has given me, and the noble Lord, Lord Shackleton, the Leader of the House, for keeping me so constantly in mind that it has made it possible to pass this Bill to-day? And may I thank your Lordships for suspending the Standing Order in order to make it possible? I beg to move that the Report of Amendments be now received.

Moved, That the Report be now received.—(Baroness Emmet of Amberley.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

Then, Standing Order No. 41 having been suspended (pursuant to the Resolution of May 21), Bill read 3a, with the Amendments, and passed, and returned to the Commons.
