THE PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (LORD KENNET)

My Lords, this Bill is to confirm two Provisional Orders made under the Public Health Act 1875. Both Orders were advertised and no objections were received. The Blackpool Order was the subject of a local inquiry, but again there were no objections. The inspector recommended that the Order should be made, and this was accepted by the Minister. My Lords, I beg to move that the Bill be read a second time.
